Thanks to Nelson Lai for his open-source portfolio. Most of the UI design and ideas are adapted from his work, especially the about section and project layouts. Since his project is built with Next.js, I took the challenge to recreate similar aesthetics using SvelteKit. This helped me improve my frontend skills while leveraging his excellent design patterns, as UI/UX design isn't a big strength of mine.
