NScholar

NScholar is an academic platform designed for NSBM Green University students to share research papers, find ideas, calculate their class, and receive personalized degree guidance. Built with Next.js, TypeScript, and MongoDB, the platform features a collaborative research repository where students can upload, browse, and bookmark academic papers across multiple fields, an idea bank for sharing and voting on research ideas and academic projects, a Class Calculator with batch versioning that calculates degree classifications using a weighted formula, and a degree recommendation system that helps students choose suitable programs based on their interests and skills. The platform implements role-based access control for Students, Moderators, and Admins, ensuring secure content management with features like research paper categorization, idea voting and collaboration, real-time statistics tracking, and integrated email notifications for academic activities.
